Build a drill for the library (Create tab)

2 answers for this part of Tactico. Everything here lives on /drills.

How do I use the Create tab to build a professional-looking drill?

Build a drill in the PDF library layout · Pro feature

  1. Open /drills and tap the Create tab, the last of the three tabs.
  2. Click any text on the page, the title, category, player count, duration, and more, to edit it in place.
  3. Use the Portrait, Landscape, or Half segmented control near the top to change the pitch shape.
  4. Use the Field toolbar to add attackers, defenders, cones, or a ball, click the pitch to place them, and drag them to set up your diagram.
  5. Tap Add phase to add another step to the drill, the trash icon to delete the current phase, and Move left or right to reorder phases.

Tips

  • Each phase is a separate stage of the drill, such as Setup and then Execution. The coaching text and player positions can be different for each phase.

How do I save my Create-tab drill, share it, or submit it to the community library?

Save, share, and submit a Create-tab drill · Pro feature

  1. Click Save to Library to save the drill to your account. Saving again under the same title updates it; changing the title creates a new copy.
  2. Click Link to generate a public web link to the drill and copy it. Anyone with the link can view it without an account.
  3. Click Share to submit the drill for review to Tactico's public community library. Confirm it is your own work. It will not appear publicly until approved.
  4. Click PDF to open the print dialog, then choose 'Save as PDF' to download a printable version.
  5. Click New to clear the editor and start a fresh drill. It asks first if there is something in the editor. Your saved drills stay untouched.
