What do I get on the Tactico Free plan?

What the Free plan includes

  1. Sign up, or use Tactico with no account at all - the Free plan needs no card and never expires.
  2. You get the full tactical board: soccer field layouts, drag-and-drop players, drawing tools, and basic screenshot exports.
  3. Signed-in Free accounts can save up to 3 tactics to the cloud. Once you reach 3, Save shows an upgrade prompt instead of saving a 4th.
  4. You get one free video recording or animation export per browser, to try the feature. After that, recording and exporting animations as video prompt you to upgrade.
  5. The 100+ formation library, custom team colors, watermark-free exports, and cloud-synced custom formations are Pro-only.

Tips

  • The one free video export is tracked per browser, not per account - it does not carry over if you switch devices.

How do I start my free Pro trial?

Start the Pro free trial

  1. Go to the Pricing page.
  2. Choose Monthly or Yearly using the tabs above the Pro plan. The Pricing page shows what each costs and how long the free trial lasts.
  3. Click the free trial button on the Pro card.
  4. If you do not have an account yet, you are taken to the sign-up form first. Fill it in and submit.
  5. You land briefly on a Redirecting to Checkout page, then Stripe's secure payment page. Enter your card details - you are not charged today.
  6. When the free trial ends, your card is charged for the plan you picked, unless you cancel first from your Profile page.

Tips

  • If you have used your trial before, the button reads Subscribe to Pro instead and billing starts immediately - no second trial.
  • The homepage's Start Pro Trial button works the same way.

How do AI credits, credit packs and Pro Plus work?

AI credits, credit packs and Pro Plus

  1. Chatting with Tacti costs nothing. A credit is spent when you ask Tacti to prepare something, such as a new team or a session plan, and the price shows on the button before you tap it. Setting up a team and its players costs 3 credits, scheduling weekly training 2, an AI session plan 5, a research report with cited sources 10, a player evaluation 1, a progress check or two-player comparison 1 and an animated drill 3.
  2. Pro includes 100 AI credits a month and Pro Plus includes 400. They renew every month, and credits you did not use do not carry over.
  3. When credits run low, a Get more link appears under the credit meter in Tacti. It opens your options: a credit pack, or an upgrade to Pro Plus if you are on Pro.
  4. A credit pack is a one-time purchase paid by card, not a subscription. Pack credits never expire, and they are used only after that month's credits are gone. If a pack is refunded, its credits are removed from your pack balance.
  5. Pro Plus coaches get 25% off every pack. The pack prices you see are the ones that apply to your plan.
  6. To upgrade to Pro Plus, choose Upgrade to Pro Plus under Get more. Tacti shows what Stripe will charge before you confirm: the change is prorated, so you pay only the difference for the rest of your billing period. Pro Plus is a card (Stripe) plan change, so if you pay with PayPal you are offered credit packs only. If you have cancelled your plan, reactivate it in your billing page first, because upgrading would otherwise cancel that out.
  7. After a pack purchase Stripe sends you to the Tacti page, where Tacti tells you how many credits were added. It can take a few seconds to show up.

Tips

  • During the free trial Tacti counts AI tasks instead of credits: the trial includes 5 AI tasks and 30 chats. Packs and Pro Plus are for paid plans.

Can I pay for Tactico Pro with PayPal?

Pay with PayPal

  1. Start a Pro trial or subscription as usual from the Pricing page.
  2. On the payment page, if PayPal is available you see a choice between paying by card or with PayPal, instead of going straight to Stripe.
  3. Click Pay with PayPal, then Continue to PayPal to finish signing up through PayPal.
  4. PayPal gives you the same free trial you would get paying by card.

Tips

  • If you do not see a PayPal option, Tactico is only accepting cards at that moment - try a card instead.
