How do I create a Tactico account?

Create a free account

1. On the homepage, click Sign In in the top right.
2. In the window that opens, click Start Pro Trial near the bottom - that link is what opens the account creation form, even for a free account.
3. Enter your full name, email, and a password. The checklist under the field shows what is still missing: 8+ characters, an uppercase and lowercase letter, a number, and a special character.
4. Re-enter your password to confirm it matches, then check the box agreeing to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
5. Click the button at the bottom of the form.
6. If you opened the form from a Start Trial button on the homepage or Pricing page, you are taken straight to the payment page to start your free trial. If you opened it from the Sign In link instead, your account is created on the Free plan with no charge, and you are shown a message inviting you to pick monthly or yearly whenever you want to start a trial.

Tips

• You can also click Continue with Google at the top of the form to sign up without typing a password.
• Clicking Try Free instead lets you use the board immediately with no account at all - your work just is not saved to the cloud.

How do I sign in to Tactico?

Sign in to your account

1. Click Sign In in the top right of any page.
2. To sign in with Google, click Continue with Google and choose your account in the popup.
3. To sign in with email, enter your email and password, then click Sign In.
4. You land on your Dashboard once you are signed in.

Tips

• If Google's popup gets blocked, allow popups for tactico.pro in your browser and try again.
• Forgot your password? Click Forgot password? just above the Sign In button.

How do I reset my Tactico password?

Reset your password

1. Click Sign In in the top right, then click Forgot password? just above the Sign In button.
2. Enter the email address on your Tactico account and click Send Reset Link.
3. Check your inbox for an email from Tactico with a reset link.
4. Open the link, choose a new password, and sign in with it.

Tips

• If the email does not arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder.

Why was I signed out of Tactico?

Why you got signed out on another device

1. Tactico only keeps one device signed in to your account at a time.
2. If you sign in on a new phone, tablet, or browser, the device you were using before is automatically signed out.
3. On the older device you will see a message: You have been signed out because you signed in on another device. You are then returned to the homepage after a few seconds.
4. To keep using Tactico there, just sign in again - your saved plans, roster, and settings all live in your account, not on the device.

Tips

• There is no separate sign out everywhere button to look for - signing in anywhere new does this for you automatically.

How do I sign out?

Sign out of Tactico

1. Click your avatar in the top right of any page.
2. In the dropdown that opens, click Sign Out at the bottom.
3. You are signed out immediately and returned to the homepage.

Tips

• On your Profile page you can also scroll to Quick Actions and click the Sign Out button there.

How do I change my email address or password?

Change your email or password

1. Tactico does not have a self-serve change email option in your account settings.
2. To change your password, sign out, click Sign In, then Forgot password? to email yourself a reset link.
3. If you need the email address on your account changed, contact support at /contact or [email protected] and explain what you need.
