How do I save my tactic so I can come back to it later?

Save your plan

1. Open the board at /app and sign in (saving needs an account; a board you have not signed in to is not kept).
2. Open the Formations tab and find My Saved Plans.
3. Click Save current plan.
4. Type a name for your tactic, or accept the suggested one, then confirm.
5. Your plan now appears in the My Saved Plans list, and further edits update the same saved plan. Save under a new name to make a copy instead.
6. Free accounts can keep up to 3 saved plans; Pro and trial accounts get up to 500.

Tips

• Your saved plans sync to your account, so they follow you if you sign in on another device.
• Signed-out visitors cannot save plans at all, and what they build is gone when they reload: sign in first.

How do I load a plan I saved earlier, or get rid of one?

Open, switch or delete a saved plan

1. Open the board at /app, sign in, and find My Saved Plans in the Formations tab.
2. Each saved plan shows its name and the date it was saved.
3. Click the check mark on a plan to load it onto the board. It replaces everything on the pitch, so save your own board first if you want to keep it.
4. Click the bin on a plan to delete it, then confirm.
5. The plan you currently have open is tagged Active in the list.

Tips

• There's no separate "rename" button — save over the currently open plan to update it, or type a new name when saving to create a new one instead.

How do I save my tactic as a picture?

Export the board as an image

1. Open the board at /app, signed in, and set it up the way you want it to look.
2. Click Share at the top of the page (on a small phone it is in the three-dots menu).
3. In the window that opens, find Or export as file and click PNG image.
4. A high-resolution picture of just the pitch downloads to your device, with no menus and no watermark.
5. Not signed in? Share asks you to sign up first. Open the Animate tab, scroll to Record and click Export PNG instead: it needs no account.

How do I send my tactic to someone without exporting a file?

Share a link to your tactic

1. Open the board at /app and click Share at the top of the page (on a small phone it is in the three-dots menu). Signed out, Share opens the sign-up window first.
2. Type a name for the tactic and click Create link.
3. A view-only link appears, good for 72 hours. Click Copy to copy it.
4. On a phone with sharing built in, tap Share tactic to open your device's normal share sheet.
5. Or tap WhatsApp or Email to send it directly through those apps.
6. Anyone with the link can view (but not edit) a copy of your board as it was when you made the link, until it expires.

Tips

• Any signed-in account, free or Pro, can create a link.

How do I print my tactic for the team?

Print your tactic or save it as a PDF

1. Open the board at /app and set it up the way you want it printed.
2. Click Share at the top of the page (on a small phone it is in the three-dots menu). Printing needs an account: signed out, Share opens the sign-up window.
3. Click Print under Or export as file.
4. Your browser's print dialog opens showing just the pitch, full-page, landscape and in color, with all the app's menus and toolbars hidden.
5. Print it, or choose Save as PDF in the print dialog to keep a digital copy.
