3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information for the following purposes:

3.1 Provide and Improve the Service

• Answer your messages to Tacti, using the team and player details needed to reply
• Provide customer support
• Analyze usage to improve features
• Fix bugs and technical issues

3.2 Communications

We send two types of email communications:

Transactional emails (always sent, required for account operation):

• Account-related notifications (password resets, subscription updates, payment receipts)
• Responses to your inquiries and support requests

Optional marketing emails (opt-in only, sent only with your explicit consent):

• Coaching Tips: Educational "Did You Know?" emails about Tactico features
• Product Updates: Announcements about new features and improvements
• Marketing & Promotions: Special offers, discounts, and campaigns

Consent for marketing emails is collected via an opt-in checkbox during account sign-up or through email preference toggles in your Profile settings. 3.3 Security and Legal

• Detect and prevent fraud and abuse
• Enforce our Terms of Service
• Comply with legal obligations
• Protect the rights and safety of users

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:

4.1 Service Providers

We share information with third-party vendors who help us operate the Service:

• Firebase/Google: Authentication, database, hosting
• Stripe: Payment processing
• Cloudflare: Website hosting and content delivery
• Google AdSense: Advertising on our free, publicly accessible pages
• Anthropic, PBC (Claude API): Tacti, our AI assistant (Pro, Pro Plus and trial accounts), sends your message and the relevant account content needed to answer it, such as team and player names and saved notes, to Anthropic to generate a reply. When you ask Tacti to research drills or plans, the research uses web search through Anthropic. Anthropic processes this data under its Commercial Terms and Data Processing Addendum and does not use API customer content to train its models.

The other providers listed above are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only to provide services to us.

4.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law or if we believe disclosure is necessary to:

• Comply with legal process or government requests
• Protect our rights, property, or safety
• Protect users or the public from harm
• Detect and prevent fraud

4.3 Business Transfers

If Tactico is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any change in ownership or use of your information.

4.4 With Your Consent

We may share information with third parties when you give us explicit consent to do so.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Tactico:

5.1 Firebase (Google)

We use Firebase for:

• User authentication (Firebase Authentication)
• Data storage (Cloud Firestore)

Firebase Privacy Policy: firebase.google.com/support/privacy

5.2 Stripe

We use Stripe to process payments. When you subscribe to a paid plan or buy a credit pack, your payment information is sent directly to Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number.

Stripe Privacy Policy: stripe.com/privacy

5.3 Cloudflare

Our website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and served through Cloudflare's content delivery network. Cloudflare may collect basic access logs for security and performance.

5.4 Google AdSense

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on our free, publicly accessible pages. Google and its advertising partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads. We do not display advertising on pages that require you to sign in, and we do not share your account information with advertisers.

5.5 Anthropic (Claude API)

Tacti, our AI assistant, is available to Pro, Pro Plus and trial accounts and is powered by the Claude API from Anthropic, PBC. When you send Tacti a message, we send that message and the relevant account content needed to answer it, such as team and player names and saved notes, to Anthropic to generate a reply. Anthropic processes this data under its Commercial Terms and Data Processing Addendum and does not use API customer content to train its models.

When you ask Tacti to research proven drills or plans, the research uses web search through Anthropic: your research question is sent to Anthropic, which searches the web for public sources and returns them to us. Messages from Free and signed-out visitors are answered from our own guides and are not sent to Anthropic.

Tacti only changes your data after you review a preview and confirm.

When you ask Tacti to remember a note or preference, we keep it in your account until you delete it. Recent notes are included with later Tacti messages, so they are sent to Anthropic like the rest of the account content described above. They are removed when your account is deleted.
